On March 25, 2025, our beloved matriarch, Inez E. Thompson, was born again into eternity. Today, on what would have been her 98th birthday, we honor her life, her love, and her legacy.
 
As a family, we released balloons with handwritten letters to heaven — messages filled with gratitude, memories, and love. Each balloon represents a piece of our hearts lifted into the sky.

This balloon release will be annual and will be more than a tradition — it’s a celebration of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother's unwavering spirit, her wisdom, her laughter, and her love. It’s our way of keeping her memory alive and connecting with others who might unknowingly become part of her story.
 
Even in passing, she continues to bring people together.
